Agency Fee - $19,500
This fee is paid to The Surrogacy Source for our services relating to your surrogate journey. This will cover advertising, interviewing, approving, and screening your surrogate mother, attending selected medical appointments upon request, supporting you and your surrogate mother, managing escrow disbursements, holding support group meeting for all surrogates, and managing your case from beginning to end.

Agency International Surcharge - $2,000
This fee is for intended parents who reside outside the United States.

Agency Support Group Coordinator Fee - $1,200
One time fee paid to The Surrogacy Source staff to hold monthly surrogate support group meetings and cover the cost for supplies, gifts, food, guest speakers.

Surrogate Mother Reimbursement of Living Expenses - Starting at $24,000
Experienced surrogate fee range between $32,000 up to $37,000
Payment will begin at the confirmation of fetal heartbeat. Paid to Surrogate at $2,400 per month until delivery with the balance due within 7 days of delivery of your baby.

Surrogate Monthly Misc. Expense - $2,400
Paid to surrogate at the rate of $200 per month. This monthly allowance is for any miscellaneous expenses related to the surrogate arrangement and is intended to cover local (in county) mileage, parking, meals, childcare for medical appointments, postage, faxing, phone calls and over the counter vitamins or supplements. This fee will begin as soon as the surrogate signs her legal contract and will continue until written termination of agreement by either party or after delivery.

Surrogate Support Group Attendance - $1,200
Paid ($100. per month) to your surrogate for her attendance in mandatory support group meetings. Support group fee will be established when she signs her legal contract and will continue for the duration of the agreement.

Medical/Screening Clearance - $2,000
Surrogates are medically screened and cleared prior to matching.

Embryo Transfer Fee - $1,000
Paid to surrogate and is intended to reimburse her for any lost wages, childcare or housekeeping as a result of bed rest due to the embryo transfer. Paid $500. at the start of injections, $500. Day of embryo transfer.

Maternity Clothing Allowance - $1,000
This one time fee is to cover maternity clothing needed for surrogate. Usually paid at the beginning of the second trimester (13-16) weeks.

Cesarean Section Fee - $2,500
This fee is to compensate for additional discomfort and recovery time required with Doctor recommended C-Section

Possible Insurance - $0-24,800
The insurance fee may vary depending on the surrogate that you are working with and if she is currently insured with maternity benefits. We will assist with securing a policy that will cover 100% of your surrogate pregnancy, labor and delivery.

Life Insurance - $400
A one year policy is purchased for the surrogate and her family in the event of surrogate death.

Criminal Background Check - $250
All surrogates and spouses must be cleared criminally before they are added to our database. The Surrogacy Source has already advanced this fee to our investigators; we will deduct it from your escrow account.

Psychological Screening - $1000
All surrogates must pass an interview and testing to make sure they are “ready” and fully understand their roll as a surrogate mother. She must be cleared before she is added to our database. The Surrogacy SOURCE has advanced this fee to the psychologist; we will deduct it from your escrow account.

Independent Escrow Fee - $650
The Escrow fee will be deducted from your initial escrow deposit ($650 + $10 per check).

Attorney Fees - $5,000
Paid directly to your attorney and should cover the surrogate agreement draft, parental rights filing and surrogate representation. (As a courtesy to you, we will send your surrogates attorney fees from your escrow account upon request.)

There may be additional expenses. Each case varies by number of attempts to get pregnant, multiples, reduction, bed rest, lost wages, insurance and experienced surrogate higher fees. Many possible occurrences will be covered in your legal contract as an “in the event of” basis. Any travel expenses incurred by The Surrogacy SOURCE on behalf of the Intended parents are to be reimbursed by Intended parents through escrow.

*Based on a 12 month arrangement. Actual expenses may be higher. Surrogacy can range between approximately 12-18 months.
