The Surrogacy SOURCE welcomes couples from all over the world, seeking to have a family via surrogacy. Our surrogacy agency is committed to providing the most professional and compassionate care to all parties involved. We have compiled a quick overview into our program and how a typical international surrogacy process takes place.

Initial Consultation The first part of the international surrogacy process is an initial consultation. This would entail a telephone call with the Manager of Surrogacy Case Management,Tricia Turner. The purpose of this is to meet one another and familiarize yourself with The Surrogacy SOURCE. At this time we will discuss in detail all aspects of our international surrogacy program, including cost, selection process, medical procedures, and legal issues. We believe this consultation will provide you with the necessary information for you to make an informed decision about whether surrogacy is the right option for you. Once you decide to move forward with The Surrogacy SOURCE, you will sign our retainer agreement and pay our initial fees. You will then be asked to fill out your parent profile online and submit with an electronic photo, which we will forward to your selected Surrogate Mother. Once she has agreed to work with you, the legal process and medical treatments will begin.

First Trip to the US

The purpose of this trip is to meet The Surrogacy SOURCE staff and your surrogate mother in person. You have the option of combining meeting your surrogate and doing the embryo transfer into one trip. If so, we advise that you stay in close contact with your surrogate mother over the phone prior to your trip to the US. If not, this can be scheduled for a second trip.

*Although not mandatory, we encourage additional trips, if possible, during pregnancy.

Second Trip to the US

Congratulations! This trip is for the birth of your baby. We recommend you arrive one week prior to birth (earlier if twins) and expect to remain in the US for approximately two weeks after your baby has arrived. During this time we can assist you in obtaining a birth certificate and a passport for your baby.

A few things to keep in mind:

• If you do not speak English fluently please let us know ahead of time so we can assist you in obtaining a translator.
• We can provide recommendations with housing and transportation.
